Stop and Review your Projects

Stop and Review your Projects
Oooo I love this one today. Stop and review your tasks. So often, we get head down focused on what we are doing we lose sight of the past and future.

Take some time every so often to check in with your task:
- celebrate how far you’ve come! You’ve checked things off!
- are you still on track with where you want to go?
- if yes, are the next steps still the ones you need to take?
- if no, are you going in a new direction (which is okay!) or do you need to get back on track to what you wanted to do
- do you need to change anything based off the work you’ve already done?

Have you ever started work on a project and realized you didn’t throughly think out all the steps? It happens

Tip: Turn off Device Notifications

Tip: Turn off Device Notifications
Do you get distracted by your phone? When that notification buzzes, you look down, pick up your phone, take care of that, now your on social media, scrolling, then you get an idea that you have to look up right now, then you look up and realize its been, geez! 30 minutes and you’ve gotten nothing done.

Been there!

The notification interruption is a definite deterrent to work. Go into your settings and turn off the ones that are not needed for you to work! You definitely should still get those texts from your boss😉 but Facebook? No notification! It can wait.

Do you have notifications on or off on your phone?

Hangry?

Hangry?
Hangry anyone?

Eating consistent protein every 3-4 hours will help prevent those blood sugar dips which are the cause of those feelings of hangry. These dips negatively affect both your attention and focus.
